Common Questions

Why do I need recurring treatments instead of a one-time service?

+

Each season brings different pest activity. A single treatment knocks down what’s currently there, but as plants grow, weather changes, and pests reproduce, that barrier breaks down quickly. Recurring visits rebuild and maintain your protection so pests never get a foothold to begin with. It’s the difference between reacting to a problem and never having one.

How often will you come out?

+

Your plan includes seasonally timed visits scheduled around Ohio’s pest calendar — when activity peaks, your barrier is already in place. You’ll receive advance notice before each visit and a service report after. If something comes up between scheduled treatments, just call or text — we’ll come back at no extra charge.

Are your products safe for my family and pets?

+

We treat with  EPA-registered, professional-grade products that are safe for your family, pets, and immune compromised household members once dry. Per product label guidelines, we ask that people and pets stay clear of the treated area during application and wait 15-30 minutes until surfaces are fully dry before re-entering. We’ll always let you know what was applied after each visit and are happy to answer any questions.

What happens after my service is complete?

+

After each visit you’ll receive a service report detailing what was treated and any activity we noticed. Your technician is available to answer questions and flag anything worth watching before the next scheduled visit.

What if I have a pest that isn’t covered in my plan?

+

Specialty pests like bed bugs, cockroaches, and pantry pests fall outside standard preventative coverage but we handle them as separate treatments. We’ll assess the situation, treat the issue, and then continue your preventative plan as normal — no need to start over or cancel your service.

What areas are treated during the initial flush and standard visits?

+

The initial flush is a comprehensive treatment of the full property — inside and out. Inside we treat kitchens, pantries, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, entry points, and the garage. Outside we treat the yard, home perimeter, eaves, and apply bait treatment around the foundation. Standard return visits focus on the exterior to maintain your barrier, with interior treatment always available at no extra charge upon request.

What if I still see pests after my treatment?

+

It’s normal to see some pest activity in the days immediately following the initial treatment — that’s the product working. If you’re still seeing activity after a window of 7-10 days, contact us and we’ll come back at no additional charge. Unlimited service calls between treatments are included in both plans.

Do I need to be home during treatments?

+

For the initial interior treatment, yes — we ask that you or another adult be present. For exterior-only visits, you do not need to be home. We’ll notify you before we arrive and send a full service report when we’re done either way.

Can you treat crawl spaces?

+

If your crawl space has a finished floor and a minimum 5-foot access clearance, we can enter and treat fully. If the space doesn’t meet those requirements, we can still treat by extending our equipment wand into the entrance and applying product from the opening. We’ll always let you know what was possible before we begin.

Do I have to call, or can I text?

+

Whatever works best for you. We’re happy to communicate by text instead of phone call — just let us know your preference when you get started and we’ll keep it consistent from there.
